Zara’s guess of her brother’s true motivations was dead accurate.
The first thing Fitz did after returning to his own room was to immediately report to Lord Banks the details of his conversation
with his sister.
When Lord Banks heard what Fitz said; that Zara would request that he accept legal sanctions at the press conference tonight,
he suddenly felt extremely anxious.
Naturally he had ways to protect himself from any legal ramifications, but what really worried him was that if she did this, he
could never return to public view.
As long as he didn’t obey the law, people across the whole country wouldn’t easily forget this matter.

Fitz said, “I’ve examined Zara’s words.
It seems that she may be having an affair with that mysterious master.
I believe that the mysterious master knew that Zara was in Aurous Hill, so he came here.
It’d also explain why he was able to rescue Zara and my mother as soon as the incident happened!”
With his grandson’s words, Lord Banks’s palms became drenched with sweat.
He found that things had indeed been developing in the worst direction.
Initially he was afraid that Zara and Deana would survive, but neither of them came back just like everyone else.

He was further afraid that the person who saved Zara was that Japanese master of Chinese descent, and that also turned out to
be true.
His fear that someone was supporting his granddaughter behind the scenes increased with the possibility of a love affair
between Zara and the mysterious master.
In this situation, the best solution Lord Banks can think of is to quickly repair his relationship with Zara.
Other than that, there seems to be no better choice.
If he could repair his relationship with Zara as soon as possible, he’d be able to at least temporarily stabilize her emotions and
behavior.
Not only can the trouble of the press conference be saved, but also the threat of the mysterious master could be reduced
significantly.
In that case, he could also win more initiative.
Maybe he could get Zara to completely drop her guard, allowing him to discover specific information about the mysterious
master, and then find a way to remove this master completely, afterwards he could then take the opportunity to send Zara abroad
under house arrest, eliminating all crises.
